As part of an event organized by the Community Engagement and Sustainability Unit under the coordination of Lecturer Burcu Ünyılmaz, language class students from Nuri Nihat Aslanoba Anatolian High School visited the School of Foreign Languages at Bursa Technical University.

The visit began with our academic coordinator, Lecturer Maria Magdalina Keskin, who conducted interactive activities introducing Polish culture. Throughout the session, students had the opportunity to explore different cultures and enhance their English communication skills.

Following the activities, the students toured our classrooms. Our Director, Dr. Caner Gürel, delivered an informative speech about the school’s academic structure, language teaching methods, and the opportunities provided to students.

The next stop of the visit was the Department of Translation and Interpretation within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. There, Dr. Ahmet Serkan Tanrıöver gave a presentation on the department’s curriculum, career opportunities, and the translation industry in Bursa. He also answered students’ questions and shared valuable insights into career pathways in translation and interpreting.
