Bursa Technical University Participated in the 3rd Career Centers Workshop

Bursa Technical University’s Career Center team took part in the 3rd Career Centers Workshop, hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ), held on November 1, 2024, at the ÇOMÜ Dardanos Campus. The university was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Ş., Director of the Career Center; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Kamacı-Karahan, Deputy Director; and Lecturer Ceyda Taşçıoğlu.

The workshop brought together representatives from the career centers of 16 universities. It commenced with opening speeches by Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Rector of ÇOMÜ, and Dr. Lecturer Hafize Seçtim, Coordinator of the ÇOMÜ Career Center.

Structured around four sessions, the workshop provided a platform for knowledge and experience exchange among participants. The main topics discussed were:

• Developing Cooperation Activities between Career Centers and Stakeholders

• Current State of Career Centers: Opportunities and Threats

• Adaptation to Digital Transformation: Emerging Professions and Career Management in the New Century

• Sustainable Relations with Alumni and Communication Channels

At the conclusion of the event, it was decided that the next Career Centers Workshop will be hosted by Kocaeli University.
