Currently, BTU students and staff benefit from international mobility programs such as Erasmus and Mevlana, with agreements made with 99 universities in 28 countries. With the newly announced project support, BTU students now have increased opportunities to study abroad, adding new countries and regions to their list of options. Thanks to the efforts of the BTU International Relations Office, international mobility opportunities have been increasing both in quantity and quality each year. Rector Çağlar's Message on International Mobility

BTU Rector Prof. Dr. Naci Çağlar emphasized the importance of universal education and the value of international experience. He highlighted the significance of allowing students to gain educational experience at foreign universities, and encouraged both undergraduate and graduate students to take advantage of international mobility opportunities. He also described the university's guidance for students to spend part of their education abroad as a key distinction in BTU’s approach to international mobility.

Rector Çağlar stated:

“Thanks to the projects submitted for the National Agency’s grant support, BTU students will benefit from Learning Mobility at universities in 18 countries across 10 different regions of the world. Thanks to the diligent work of our International Relations Office, we have seen a significant increase in the amount of grants received, which has expanded the countries our students can visit. Students and staff can benefit from these mobility opportunities until July 31, 2026.”

This initiative reflects BTU’s commitment to enhancing international collaboration and providing students with opportunities to gain global exposure in their academic and professional journeys.
