A year-end celebration was held for the foreign faculty members working at Bursa Technical University (BTU), particularly those from the School of Foreign Languages and other departments. The event aimed to bring a touch of the Christmas spirit to the foreign faculty members, especially for those who were unable to travel home for the holidays.

Faculty members from Europe and the Americas, who traditionally spend Christmas with their families, gathered for the celebration, sharing joyful moments together instead of being separated from their families.

The event was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şule Altun, Director of the School of Foreign Languages Okt. Murat Bayrak, and Deputy Director of the International Relations Office, Lecturer Dr. Nuri Şendil. The celebration cake was cut by Okt. Shawnda Hines. After the cake cutting, the foreign faculty members exchanged holiday wishes and congratulated one another.

At the end of the celebration, the foreign faculty expressed their gratitude to those who organized the event, making it possible for them to celebrate Christmas away from their families.
