2022-2023 Academic Year 1st Quarter Started with Orientation Activities

2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Term 1st Quarter classes started with the orientation activities held on Monday, October 3 and Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

As part of the orientation program, online presentations were made on the Microsoft Teams platform on Monday, October 3^rd 2022. Our students first gained general information about our education system with the presentation of our Deputy Director Inst. Ayşe Vatansever introducing BTU School of Foreign Languages. At the same time, our students had the opportunity to ask questions in the question-answer part. Then, Inst. Levent Değirmencioğlu introduced the Student Activities Office and activities planned for the year to our students. Following this presentation, our students were trained by Zafer Cengiz, Human Resources Manager of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), about the importance of English in business life and job opportunities in Bursa. On Tuesday, October 4, our students met their teachers in their new classes and took part in 3 different activities. These activities were; Treasure Hunt, which introduced students to the campus and buildings; Find Someone Who, which allowed them to gather information about their teachers, and classroom activities that helped them mingle with their classmates. Some of these activities were held outside in different parts of the campus, and some were held in students' own classrooms.

We would like to thank all our instructors who contributed to the orientation program, Zafer Cengiz, who enlightened us with his experiences, and all the students who took part actively in these orientation activities, and wish them a year full of success and health.
